Step 1 - Local SEO Configuration

Before adding location(s) data to WordPress, ensure you've configured Local SEO
- Goto WordPress Admin > Settings > Locations & SEO and configure the settings

Step 2 - Create Location Manually

To create a location
- Goto WordPress Admin > Locations > Add New.
- If the plural name of the "Locations" in Local SEO Configuration is different, the above path will change.
- In the location form, populate the following values
- Title : The title of the location
- Location Category : Add category to the location to group them.
- Featured Image : Add an image associated with the location
- Excerpt : A brief description of the location.
- Business Type : Select the type your business represents.
- Telephone : A business phone number meant to be the primary contact method for customers.
- Email : A business email address meant to be the primary contact method for customers.
- Fax Number : A business Fax number
- VAT ID : The Value-added Tax ID of the organization
- TAX ID : The Tax / Fiscal ID of the organization.
- Street Address : The street address. For example, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy.
- Locality : The locality in which the street address is, and which is in the region. For example, Mountain View.
- Postal Code : The postal code. For example, 94043
- Region : The region in which the locality is, and which is in the country. For example, California
- Country : The country. For example, United States
- Price Range : The relative price range of a business, by
- Either a numerical range (for example, "$10-15") or
- A normalized number of currency signs (for example, "$$$")
- Custom Marker : Upload custom marker For Google Maps to overide the default.
- Opening Hours : Hours during which the business location is open.
- Map - Geolocate your business : Locate & set your business on Google Maps.
- Ensure you save the form by pressing "Publish"

Step 3 - Bulk Import Locations Using CSV Upload

Bulk import locations using a csv file.
To import locations
- Goto WordPress Admin > Tools > Import
- Press Run Importer under the Multi Locations (CSV) section
- On the next screen, upload the csv file and press Upload file and import
- On the next screen, on data verification, you'll find the message Your data is verified. Press on the "Import Data" button to begin import process.
- Press Import Data button
- The importer starts creating location entries using the data from the csv.
- It also find the geocoding information if a proper address is present.
- On completion of the import, you'll find debug information on all the imported locations
- Visit the locations listing page to verify the location entries.
